J. Sayleen Hurtado Short,
M.S., CCC-SLP
Sayleen Hurtado Short is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist based in Tucson, Arizona. Originally from Douglas, AZ, she has been a proud Tucson resident since 2001. Sayleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Linguistics, both from the University of Arizona. She also earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University. With over 10 years of experience, Sayleen is dedicated to helping individuals enhance their communication skills, with a special focus on serving the bilingual Hispanic community. Accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), she brings a deep understanding of both English and Spanish to her practice. In her free time, Sayleen enjoys playing and watching sports, spending quality time with her husband and children, enjoying her two dogs, and connecting with family and friends.
Danielle Baker,
M.S., CCC-SLP
Danielle Baker is a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders with minors in Public Health and Special Education at the University of Arizona. An Arizona native, Danielle is passionate about helping her clients achieve their communication goals. When she’s not working, Danielle enjoys Pilates, traveling, and spending time with her family and dog. Her favorite sports team is the Phoenix Suns!
